POZNÁMKA 1 k heslu Pojem organizace zahrnuje, mimo jiné, osobu samostatně výdělečně činnou, společnost, akciovou společnost, firmu, podnik, správní orgán, partnerství, dobročinnou organizaci nebo instituci, nebo jejich část či kombinaci, ať už jsou do organizace začleněny, nebo ne, veřejné, nebo soukromé.
POZNÁMKA 2 k heslu Je-li organizace součástí většího celku, termín „organizace“ se vztahuje pouze na tu část, která spadá do rozsahu systému managementu aktiv (3.4).
